A Word About This Years Presidential Season

This is really an article I’ve had in my mind since the last Presidential election, nothing more than an inner monologue of sorts. Granted, at 33, I’ve only really been old enough to actually care about 3 elections in my lifetime, this year I am starting to see why things happen that I’ve read about in history books in the past. More specifically, what I’m talking about is how volatile elections can be for different political parties, politicians and President – especially over the course of just a 2-4 year time period.

Of course, a lot of this is due to the advent of the “Electoral College,” whom essentially chooses Presidents completely independent of the “Popular Vote.” What I mean to say is that if it were not for the Electoral College, the last 4 Presidents of the United States would have all been Democrat – but of course they haven’t been, now have they? I mean think about it, Bill Clinton won outright, Al Gore then beat George Bush by sheer vote count, Obama won outright and Hillary Clinton beat Donald Trump by sheer vote count. While I do not know if it’s on purpose, the Electoral College helps to ensure a sort of political diversity of the Oval Office that we otherwise would not see.

But what I’m discovering in 2018 is that there is something much different at play here, which is ultimately sure to effect changes to political offices next year – in November 2019. I’ve sometimes always wondered, how can one President serve just 4 years? What really happened or went wrong to cause that? Then I think about how fast the country can and does theoretically change. The Democrats had the House, Senate and Presidency in 2009, then by 2016 the Republicans had the same. Then, just two years later, the Republicans lost the House and as a result, now we have political gridlock with the Senate – the same thing that happened to the Obama Administration in 2014. Why these extreme change in just 2 to 4 years has always fascinated me as a young student? But now I may be able to answer that question in live time as this is all happening this year.

Look no further than the last Democratic Presidential Debate, featuring 12 candidates all on stage with one another fighting for air time. It infuriated me to a degree to watch what was going down there, just different Democrats talking about shared Democrat talking points. No rebuttal or challenge was given to a single statement or allegedly “fact” that night, just more and more liberals talking about liberalist philosophy. Meanwhile, are/were the Republicans holding any public debates? Are they really doing anything, at all?

I mean just think about, all the media coverage that debate generated, all the follow interviews, all the follow up television squabble/coverage was all 100% in response to the words of the Democrats – giving them even more publicity. Even the Republicans are doing nothing more than talking about what the Democrats are talking about everyday – giving the Dems even more publicity/airtime. But it’s not just the debates, it’s all the political advertisements, full of Democrats seeking office. I honestly haven’t seen a single Republican ad over the same time, only angry Democrats. I mean some US Republican led states are even cancelling primary debates, not just because they are all in on Donald Trump supporters/candiates, but also to “save money.” This means that people in these states or in the national media are never going to here important Republicans responses/headline, nor the views of the part right now or what they plan for future – after the election. Meanwhile, Democrats continue to run wild in the media and with commercials.

You want to understand how political parties trade power so easily or often in elections over 2-4 years, or how some Presidents only last 4 years instead of 8? Look no further than what’s on the media/television right now. Look no further than the way the Republicans are acting right now. Quite frankly, the Republicans aren’t trying an ounce as hard as the Democrats right now and it shows, not just today in the here and now but I also suspect next years election. But who am I to predict the future? Just saying…..

State Auditor: “Mississippi Shows Disregard for Cyber Security in State Government”

An internal audit of security systems, measures and protocols of the Mississippi State Government, at the hands of the states own auditor, is said to have revealed complete “disregard for cyber security” at the hands of Government employers and public universities – leaving the state particularly vulnerable to cyber attacks as we head deeper into the 2020 US Presidential election season.

As was reported by Mississippi’s State Auditor earlier this month, “As required by state law, the Auditor’s office sent a cyber security survey to 125 state agencies, boards, commissions, and universities. Only 71 state entities responded to the survey, and several respondents did not complete it. This leaves the status of cyber security in more than 50 state entities completely unknown.

Among the government offices that replied to the survey, the report shows at least 11 do not have adequate written procedures to prevent or recover from a cyber attack. Another 22 respondents have not executed a third-party risk assessment. Having a third party test the vulnerability of an agency’s server is a requirement under state law. Further, 38% of all respondents indicate sensitive information like health information, tax data, and student information is not being encrypted to protect it from hackers.

In short, the survey found over half of all respondents are less than 75% compliant with state cyber security laws.“”

Senators Rubio & Van Hollen Introduce The DETER Act of 2019, Calling for Strict Sanctions Against The Russian Government

Earlier this afternoon, March 3rd 2019, Senators Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) introduced a new bill to US Congress entitled the “Defending Elections from Threats by Establishing Redlines Act” – otherwise referred to the “DETER Act.” The bill is essentially a carbon copy of a 2017 bill also introduced by Senator Rubio, previosuly voted down, which called for immediate sanctions upon the Russian Government for their interference and/or meddling in the 2016 US Presidential Election.

In a message attached to the re-release of his bill here today, Senator Rubio stated that “The one clear message we can all take away from the Mueller Report – along with the consensus of our intelligence chiefs – is that Russia worked to manipulate the American people and undermine our democratic process in 2016.” Explaining that for this reason, the DETER Act aims to “send a clear and powerful message to Russia and any other foreign actors seeking to disrupt our elections: If you attack American candidates, campaigns, or voting infrastructure, you will face swift and severe consequences.

What’s perhaps most interesting about this news today, at least to me, was that I didn’t hear about it through the American media – but rather through Russia Today, whom literally put out two different articles on the subject within hours of Rubio’s release. Interestingly enough, the Russians are essentially brushing the bill off as propaganda, especially considering that this same exact bill has already failed once before. More specifically, RT calls Rubio’s bill an overreaction of so-called “Russia-gate Hysteria,” also going to on to point out how extreme the bill actually is. For example, if passed, the bill would “require sanctions to be imposed on a list of Russian banks and energy companies. It would also prohibit US citizens from engaging in business with any entity owned by the Russian government, and freeze the assets of Russian political and business leaders targeted for sanction in the US.” At least from the Russians perspective, this is also exactly why the bill is likely to fail a second time – especially given Trumps veto of Russian sanctions dating back to 2017.

Market Analysis: Is It Worth Investing Heavily In Bitcoin In 2019 & Beyond?

Given my current line of work, more and more people keep asking me about Bitcoin investment and whether or not I think it is a good idea? While I do think at least half these people are only asking to see whether or not I’m stashing away some giant cache of Bitcoin somewhere, I genuinely think at least some of them are legitimately interested in learning more. Regardless, my answer/response to them always remains the same: No, I do not currently own any Bitcoin. No, I have never bought Bitcoin throughout the past and no, I certainly wouldn’t recommend investing in the cryptocurrency in the future.

What everyone should understand about Bitcoin is that its already had its “hay day” – so to speak. Anyone whom invested in Bitcoin prior to the summer of 2015 and held onto it through the beginning 2017 ‘got rich,’ essentially, but this doesn’t mean it’s ever going to happen again or repeat itself in the future. I say this because the source code of Bitcoin was specifically written to account for the eventual rise of inflation, the same market driven phenomenon effecting every form of currency preceding it. To do this, Bitcoins source code was designed so that the longer it exists, the harder it becomes to confirm transactions through the block-chain – thus requiring larger and larger amounts of power and energy to mine/verify its transactions. Put another way, the longer Bitcoin exists and the larger it becomes, the more the costs associated with owning, creating, running or mining it increase, therefore offsetting the value of the cryptocurrency itself – theoretically acting is a built in safeguard against inflation.

For example, you might recall a December 2017 study during which it was revealed that Bitcoin mining had already begun consuming more power annually than 159 individual countries worldwide? This is also exactly what I am talking about here, and this phenomenon is only sure to get worse or grow larger over time.

The other thing you need to understand about Bitcoin is that its value is directly tied to hacking, hacking events and other illegal acts online. Meaning that the more hacks occur globally, the more times the cryptocurrency changes hands and the more valuable of a commodity it therefore becomes. For example, you might notice how Bitcoin’s price skyrocketed at the end of 2015 and into the start of 2017, before steadily going on to crash ever since? Ask yourself, why do you think that is?

No photo description available.

The answer is simple. Hear of any hacks and/or leaks in 2015 and 2016, say in the months leading up to the November 2016 US Presidential election of Donald Trump? No? Didn’t think so 😏. Whether anyone wants to admit it aloud or not, Bitcoins worst kept secret is that its value is directly tied to “Black-Hat Hackers” and other hacking events, because Bitcoin is how all of these people pay one another or exchange money online. This means that the more hacks and/or leaks and/or ransomware and/or cyber-attacks we observe globally, the more “valuable” of a commodity Bitcoin becomes. Therefore, if you want to invest in Bitcoin in the future, you’d have to center your investment around a time during which you’d expect hacks to once again start skyrocketing.

Consequentially, this leads me straight into my next point. Just as with the summer of 2015, when various EU countries starting holding National elections, and through to the fall of 2016, when the US held its national elections, many EU countries will once again be holding elections in the summer of 2019 and similarly, the US will be holding another Presidential election in the fall of 2020. See where I am going with this? If I were a betting man, which I’m not, and if I were going to begin investing heavily in Bitcoin in the future, which I never will, I would almost certainly time my initial investment around June-August 2019 and hold onto it through January 2021 – the first month the next US Presidential term in office. Surely this period of time is set to see a large increase in the number of cyber attack, hacks, leaks, DDoS attacks and ransomware infections worldwide, thus pushing the price/value of Bitcoin higher – but who knows for certain, honestly?

Bitcoin & Banking

Another major problem facing Bitcoin throughout the future is the “legality” of it all. For example, Bitcoin has already been banned at one point or another in countries such as China, Russia and more recently, India. These countries also represent some of the largest economies/markets in the world. As for why cryptocurrencies keeps getting banned there, and in other countries like them around the world, its because these governments cant stand the fact that 1, Bitcoin cant be taxed and 2, because Bitcoin is often times used for corrupt political practices or to launder money.

To skirt around these problems, many countries have begun making it legal to own Bitcoin so long as you store your Bitcoin wallet in/with a major banking institution – much in the same way you store money in a savings account, only using Bitcoin. Allowing a trusted banking institution to hold your cryptocurrency and see where you are spending it adds an extra layer of transparency to it all, essentially allowing Governments to cope with its existence more easily. However, many of these policies are either still up for debate, have yet to be fully enacted, or were just recently passed into law. Meaning that Bitcoin has only just begun to experience its growing pains, and debates surrounding its legality, regulation and/or usage will only continue to grow larger or get more complicated over time, before anything is solved or gets better. At least in my opinion, this is yet another major deterrent to investing in the cryptocurrency at the present moment in time.

US CERT – DHS Releases Emergency Directive In Response To Widespread “Infrastructure Tampering Campaign” Targetting US Executive Branch

Considering that I’ve been a little lost in the world of underground hacks and leaks the last few weeks, I’m not exactly sure how well its been reported in the “Main Stream Media” that part of the US Governments ongoing shutdown involves the temporary laying off of US Government IT workers. Quite literally meaning that nearly every website owned by the US Federal Government is currently out in the open with no one on staff to mitigate attacks or secure them. For example, as was just reported by Netcraft earlier this week, since the shutdown first began “130 TLS certificates used by U.S. government websites have expired without being renewed” – up from 80 just last week.

Full Press Release from Netcraft: https://news.netcraft.com/archives/2019/01/16/manufacturing-gov-and-white-house-security-suffer-under-u-s-shutdown.html

Before moving on, truth be told, I am writing this article following up on a report from Adam Longo, concerning a DDoS attack effecting NASA.gov tonight. For those of you unaware, the site is currently being taken offline via a coordinated DDoS attack at the hands of Mecz1nho Markov – leader of the Brasilian based hacking group Pryzraky. For the purposes of this article, the news serves as a perfect reminder of just one of the small problems presented by the US Government shutdown – strictly in regards to cyber, IT and/or data security.

All of this is important to understand because hackers have been talking about all of this for weeks now, and indubitably countless threat actors have since gone on to do irreparable damage to our Government and US Government systems/server over the same time period of our shutdown. If you need any proof of this, look no further than Emergency Declaration 19-01 issued to the public by US CERT and Department of Homeland Security on January 22nd 2019. In it, the DHS explains how it’s their duty to inform the US public or any Government agencies of any immediate threats presented to their systems, either in live time or into the immediate future. In this particular instance, the DHS is now warning of “DNS Infrastructure Tampering” campaigns actively being carried out by unknown and malicious international threat actors or Advanced Persistent Threats (APT’s).

More specifically, the Department of Homeland Security explains how, dating back to January 10th 2019, their “Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA)” has been “tracking a series of incidentsinvolving Domain Name System (DNS) infrastructure tampering.” Explaining that CISA is now “aware of multiple executive branch agency domains that were impacted by the tampering campaign,” adding that each/every effected agency has since been contacted privately about this matter.

Read Full Emergency Directive from DHS: https://cyber.dhs.gov/ed/19-01/

Now, in my professional experience I know that DNS level attacks usually involve the hijacking of network internet traffic in hopes of either intercepting and stealing said traffic, or cutting off traffic to the end destination – the website itself. For example, this is how Wikileaks was ‘hacked’ by OurMine in 2017. With that said however, DNS level attacks can also lead to the complete hijacking of a websites “Name Servers,” quite literally granting hackers full and complete administrator level control over a website and all of its contents – including every piece of data entered onto the websites back-end, normally shielded from public eye.

In this particular instance, as was explained/described by the DHS themselves in Emergency Directive 19-01 posted above:

In response to the incidents and to stay out ahead of future DNS level attacks like it in the future, the DHS has also submitted to following recommendations for all US Government website administrators:

As stated, all agencies, departments, organizations and websites affiliated with the US Government’s Executive Branch are to conduct full and complete audits of their online systems, DNS records and web traffic – with full reports due back to the DHS by February 5th 2019 at the very latest. From there, Government researchers can begin putting together the full scale of these hacks/attacks, as well as what information the hackers were able to steal – and for how long. Possibly implicated under the umbrella of the US Executive Branch are the US Military, White House, Immigration and Custom Enforcement, National Security Agency, as well as state and local law enforcement agencies – among many others.

Additionally, once again given my experience, I do not think it would be unreasonable to speculate that we won’t see any of the information uncovered by hackers the last few weeks for quite some time down the road. Say for example the start of the 2020 US Presidential election season, which due to kick off in less than 12 months time. If I had a guess, I would assume that any information targeted by hackers over the last two weeks was acquired specifically for this very purpose; to interfere with and/or manipulate the course of the 2020 US Presidential elections. Though even I admit that statement is merely speculative and remains to be seen.

Op-Ed: Understanding How Trump Was Accidentally, On Purpose, Elected by The ‘Mainstream’ Media

Step 1: How News Websites Make Money

To understand how this really happened, you have to understand how the online news industry makes money. Essentially, online newspapers make money by selling advertising space. The more people that visit your website and the more people that click on any given advertisement(s) contained within it, the more money that site makes. What you should also understand is that some advertisers will also pay “per-click” or per view, meaning that every time an article is clicked on or read, the website will generate a small bit of money for you having seen that advertisement featured on it – even if it is only a few pennies. Therefore, theoretically, the more articles you produce the more money you can make. That’s how many sites “mined” advertising revenue in the past and into the future.

This practice was at the heart of the “Fake News” epidemic and “Prop or Not List,” and I know this because I used to source content to 4 websites featured on that list from 10/2015-11/2016. However, it always used to bother me to see some of my most important articles featured next to advertisements like “Click Here: See Which Child Celebrities Grew Up To Be Obese,” or “8 Tips To Increase Penis Size” directly beside my work. In fact I hated it, but I also knew I was only getting paid to write those article in the first place because of those very advertisements – such is/was “Show Business.

Step 2: How To Generate More Money by Increasing Site Traffic

With that established, you then need to understand the art of “SEO” or “Click-Baiting.” While both can technically be considered skills, only one of which do I really consider a legitimate business practice. For the purposes of this article I would like to focus on the concept of baiting people to click on articles, by generating the most inciteful, over the top, belligerent and/or emotionally charged headlines as possible. This is done simply to cater to a particular audience, get people riled up and engaged, or make them excited/pissed off – ensuring that either way, whomever sees the article will want to click on it, even if for no other reason than to see what the hell is actually going on. Remember, the more people who click on any online article, the more money that article makes. That’s literally the only “goal” of a click-bait article, to get someone to click on it – the subject matter after that point doesn’t necessarily matter, really.

I once did an experiment. For example, who wants to read an article “How Political Partisanship Effects The Dynamics of Modern Democracy,” when they could read something like “Breaking: Hillary Clinton Fronted Child Sex Ring for Husband Bill.” It might be dirty, but I assure you the second article will generate at least 10x as many clicks as the first; 10x the revenue – that’s just the way the online/internet “culture” is, draw your own conclusions about society after that point if you really want. While that is an extreme example, I think it demonstrates the concept quite clearly.

Lastly, before you go ahead and judge, make assumptions or draw any wild conclusions about the websites I sourced content to or did work for, you should also understand that this was an industry-wide practice, from the largest American news corporations on down through the grimiest of Russian propagandists – and everyone in between.

Step 3: How Trump Coverage Was A Media Gold Mine

This concept is a little easier to understand. I mean, who is more polarizing than Donald Trump himself? Even on through today, just the mere mention of his name is enough to throw people into hysterical fits of rage and throughout the course of 2015-2016, perhaps no one in the world attracted/garnered more attention than Trump did. Keeping what you just learned about click-bait and pay-per-click websites in mind, Trumps media madness created a perfect, highly profitable, storm.

As I can personally attest, any article featuring something wild about Trump received astronomically more reactions, comments and reads than anything intellectual – thus those types of articles made astronomically more money. For example, here are two articles produced by myself in the summer of 2016, both featuring coverage of Donald Trump:

Intellectual Article:

Image may contain: 1 person, smiling, text

Click-Bait Article:

Image may contain: one or more people and text

That was also not a fluke, that was the online news industry at the time. After long enough people almost couldn’t help themselves, Trump coverage generated higher ratings than any other topic – so people just kept on including/featuring it. The problem was that the money never stopped flowing in, and after month after month after month of non-stop coverage, soon enough America had managed to make it through the national primary and debate seasons, and there we were – left with Clinton v Trump for the US Presidency. As unbelievable as it sounds, no one knew exactly how it happened, I guess we all just got a little too wrapped up in corporate greed/money making and it just kind of sort of happened.

Controversy or craziness sells in the media, it is what it is really. Clearly that was what people in society liked/wanted, so news organizations felt obligated to give it to them – “Let Them Eat Cake!” The fact of the matter is that in 2015-2016 the news game was all about who could attract the most attention away from everyone else, there was nothing more to it than that. This phenomenon also wasn’t limited to online audiences, you best believe that from The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal to CNN and Fox News, all the major corporate news networks were in on it – Trump was a money making media goldmine for everyone.

Step 4: Why Foreign Actors Pushed Support for Trump

Russia. As for why Russia pushed support for Trump, there are two reasons. First was that the Russians knew full well how polarizing of a figure Donald Trump was within American society, and it has always been one of Russia’s primary objectives to disrupt American society – or at the very least make them feel “uncomfortable.” One of the primary means through which they go about accomplishing this is by going around sowing “Discord” or “Anarchy” around society. For example, remember when Facebook revealed that Russian advertisers had bought adverting space to heavily push support for Black Lives Matter protests, but targeted those advertisements directly at political conservatives and white supremacists online? Or when Facebook revealed how Russian advertisers had pushed heavy support for alt-right material, but targeted it exclusively to/at political liberals?

Read More – NATO’s Handbook of Russian Information Warfare: https://krypt3ia.files.wordpress.com/2016/12/fm_9.pdf

The second reason why Russia favored Trump was because Vladimir Putin knew that Trump would be more sympathetic to Russia’s concerns, and less likely to engage the country in various political battles or world affairs – such as has been the case in Syria. There is also no denying that Trumps political platform was certainly more favorable towards Russia than Clinton’s was, for example. In other ways, Vladimir Putin also suspected that he may have been be able to socially manipulate/engineer Trump, especially given Trumps “alleged ties” to Russian businesses and Oligarchs throughout the past. It also didn’t hurt than many of Russia’s closest allies also considered the theoretical election of Donald Trump to signal the literal downfall of the United States as they knew it.

China. In April 2016 I remember coming across a report featured by The Wall Street Journal, discussing statement’s given by China’s Finance Minister Lou Jiwei in regards to the projections of the US Presidential election later that year. More specifically, Minister Jiwei stated that he believed Donald Trump was an “irrational type,” whose election “would make the United States no longer entitled to world leadership” headed in to the future. At the time, he was the highest ranking official within China’s Government to make any such remarks. That’s essentially it, really. There were several world leaders and countries all over the world who though the election of Donald Trump would be a giant joke, and the worst possible outcome for the American public – so Chinese social media farms and Russian propagandists went “All In” to try and get him elected – the rest is history.

Read More from Harvard University – How the Chinese Government Fabricates Social Media Posts for Strategic Distraction, not Engaged Argument: https://gking.harvard.edu/50C

Step 5: The Accidentally, On Purpose, Election of Donald Trump

I don’t necessarily think anyone ever actually expected Donald Trump would eventually become President one day, let alone himself. In retrospect, our enemies were simply just trying to make fun of and divide American society, whilst also trying to set this country/international relations back decades by electing him. Here in America, advertisers, corporate executives and news organizations were all just simply trying to exploit him and profit off of all the attention/controversy he garnered, and Trump even once admitted behind closed doors that he only decided to run in the first place for “the lulz” of it all.

It may have all been a giant mistake, it may have been an accident, or maybe Donald Trump really did earn it – who am I to decide? All I know that the fake news fiasco, Russian propaganda nonsense and click-bait epidemic spiraled out of control and snowballed into a force that fundamentally altered the course of human history. All the world should now realize that, along with being the worlds single largest library, the internet is one of the worlds greatest weapons. It is not for naught my tag reads “Give me a website and platform big enough and I can move the world. The keystroke is mightier than the sword.” With that, I bid you adieu, stay classy mis amigos 😉

Satirical: FSB/Kremlin Prepared to Declassify All Documents Corresponding To 2016 Election Hacking Campaign

** WARNING: This article is a Satire. I know this is a “big word” for my American viewing audience, so to specify, the definition of a satire “is the use of humor, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people’s stupidity or vices, particularly in the context of contemporary politics and other topical issues.” Understand now? Didn’t think so. **

By now I think more and more people are starting to come to the realization/understanding that I have access to a lot of information that others do not, and have perhaps seen more than my fair share of things I shouldn’t have over the years. Not only do I remain one of Anonymous largest supporters, but dating back to 2015 I literally wrote the book(s) on how to remain/keep an Anonymous identity online. But on through today people look at my website and Twitter feed and ask, “how is it possible for one person to source so much content on a daily basis? How do you do it” they wonder?

Well, if you must know, I presided as contents specialist over one of the biggest “Russian Propaganda” outlets in the world from mid 2015 to November 2016 – at least according to the Washington Post and US liberal media, that is. If you didn’t pick up on it right away, this was also the exact same time period of the EU elections and US Presidential campaign season directly leading up to the month and year of Donald Trumps election – but that’s all just a coincidence, I think. Years after the fact, not only did my Government flag my work and the work I sourced to others as “Fake News,” but it has also been “Blacklisted” and banned from Google and Facebook as propaganda. Quite ironic that I have since gotten 4 different domains accepted for inclusion into Google News and 3 different pages verified by Facebook over the exact same period they were blacklisting all my previous work – don’t you think?

But without making this about myself, one of the most interesting pieces of “information” I’ve ever come across in all my years online was the alleged dirt that “the Russians” were holding over Donald Trumps head. To be more exact, back in 2013, well before Donald Trump ever became President, he traveled to Moscow for the Miss Universe Pageant. As the story goes, one night that Donald Trump returned to his hotel room he was sent a “gift” – a gift of the flesh; a prostitute. However, what Donald Trump did not know at the time was that this prostitute was deliberately underage, and given that everything in Russia has been ‘wiretapped‘ dating back to the KGB days of the Cold War, the Russians have been holding this over Donald Trumps head as “Blackmail” ever since.

Consequentially enough, this is the real reason why Donald Trump has refused to sign US Congressional sanctions against Russia into law, the reason why Jared Kushner has tried to outsource so much business to Russia over the years, as well as why Donald Trump has been an apologist for Vladimir Putin since first taking office – “allegedly.” I also call this ‘alleged information‘ for a reason, because as the saying goes, “there is a difference between facts and information” and if I was ever actually able to prove any of this, Donald Trump would either resign or be impeached, and I would either be winning a Pulitzer prize for journalism or assassinated – take your pick. #WhatUpKhashoggi! Too soon?

Why Any of This Bring This Up?

I bring this up because yesterday afternoon I came across a press release from Nikolai Murashov, deputy director of the Federal Security Service CTRC, explaining how the FSB is prepared to declassify all correspondence related to the US election hacking campaign of 2016 – if the FSB’s counterparts in the USA don’t object to it, that is. Before breaking this down, you seriously have to understand much of a loaded statement this really is.

For example, between Robert Mueller, the House of Representative, US Senate and God knows how many lobbyists working for or on behalf of different inter-governmental agencies, the United States has quite literally spent two years and hundreds upon hundreds of millions of dollars collectively trying to figure out what the Russians were up to in 2016. Not only this, but despite all of this time, money and effort, not a single one of these investigations has actually concluded yet, been closed or even “solved.” Yet as we site here today, December 12th 2018, the Kremlin is saying that they are fully prepared to publish everything these people/investigators have spent years trying to figure out, entirely for free with no strings attached – lulz.

So Why Ask US Permission?

This is exactly why I say you have to understand how much of a loaded statement the FSB’s announcement this week really was, because indubitably this is just a “Troll.” But despite the hilarity of it all, this may be no joking matter.

Of course Russia is ready to release this information to the international public right now, I mean think about it. Despite however strong the US Oligarchy may be, soon enough someone is eventually going to have to ask or demand Mueller to start wrapping things up already, and even Congress knows they can’t possibly let a 4 year old investigation distract from new/critical talking points headed into the 2020 election season. Within the next year, possibly sooner, everyone working for this Government is going to have start moving on with their lives, stop pouting about being bested by the Russians in 2015/2016 and start closing their investigations. Put a different way, all of these Russian investigations are going to be coming to an end within the next year, more likely that not before the first Presidential debates in December 2019.

You better believe that Russia would love nothing more than to declassify all of their documents relating to the 2016 election hacking campaign right now, because it would completely undermine the results of every US investigation into it. Essentially, who cares what Mueller, Warner and Burr think about what Russia did when you can have the actual intelligence documents/blueprint straight from the source; straight from the Kremlin? Moreover, how hilarious would it be for the Kremlin to spontaneously release all of this material within weeks of the conclusion of all these two year long Federal investigations? It would make the last two years and the hundreds of millions of dollars spent look/seem utterly worthless.

Secondly, the FSB’s announcement this week only puts added pressure on Trump and the US Government. Think about it, what if Donald Trump or someone working in his cabinet actually says “No” to Russia and tells them not to declassify the material? Wouldn’t that make it seem like he was trying to hide something –  or was “colluding” with them if you will to keep something secret? Don’t you think the US press would jump all over that? Do you know how bad the Trump Administration would look if someone representing him actually told Russia not to go through with it? That’s what makes the FSB’s announcement this week such a world class troll, or ingenious depending on how you want to look at it – because so many people are going to get f*cked by it either way, whether Russia decides to publish the documents or not.

But Such Is Informational Warfare – Right?

The even funnier thing about all of this is that Russia has already admitted to trying to undermine or meddle in the 2016 US Presidential election several times throughout the course of the last year and a half – just not necessarily using those exact/specific words.

For example, in February 2017 Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu publicly announced the formation of Russia’s newest military unit, an “Informational Warfare Unit” specifically designed to combat fake news/propaganda against Russia and spread it on their behalf across the global theater. While Shoigu indicated the unit had been active for quite some time before February 2017, the occasion marked the first time the Russian military was willing to admit to its existence. If that’s not enough evidence to sway you, just a few weeks ago the Kremlin officially filed motion in a New York City court room to dismiss charges against 10 Russian operatives charged as being Wikileaks sources for the Hillary Clinton and DNC email hack/leaks.

In the motion linked above, dated November 18th 2018, the Kremlin specifically demands that their operatives be granted immunity in this case, because hacking Clinton and the DNC were tied to a deliberate military operation – and military actions/operations are granted immunity in individual courtrooms worldwide, regardless of the country perpetrating them. Given that the US has the largest military on Earth and is actively engaged in 7 different War zones right now, perhaps no other country on Earth benefits more from this immunity than the US does. Regardless, in doing so, Russia is directly admitting that the Kremlin ordered the hack of Clinton and the DNC as part of a much broader military campaign/operation in 2016 – they are even willing to testify to this in court!

Given the evidence, I am not quite sure why none of these Federal investigations have concluded or why the US public is last to know, but it is a general fact that Russia has already admitted guilt into election hacking/meddling years ago. Quite frankly, it’s a marvel how the US press organizations operate. This is also why, on through to today, all those millions spent and years lost investigating Russia’s influence is utterly useless. Whether the Russians declassify these documents or not, we already know the truth, we already know Russia was behind all of this. The fact of the matter is that all of these never-ending investigations into Russian meddling are nothing more than wastes of time and money, abusing resources to keep producing news headlines, keep the American public living in fear of Russia while making Donald Trump look as corrupt as possible. In other words, all of these Federal investigations into Russian propaganda are nothing more than “American Propaganda” in their own right – farcical at best.

Sorry if this is the first time you are hearing any of this or you are the last to know. But keep watching CNN, I’m sure they’ll have a breakthrough on any of these investigations any day now 😂

Op-Ed: The Arithmetic Behind Trumps Election & The Political Fallout Which Followed

As I start the process of building a new website to compete with the industry big dogs, starting roughly 5 months from today once the EU election season officially kicks off, I look back at this time two years ago and cant help but be blown away by how much this country has fallen off. What I mean to say is I cant believe how much time, focus, effort, money, resources and progress we’ve lost following the election of Donald Trump in 2016. I cant help but think, has Trumps election set this country back 2 years, 4 years? 8 years? I’m not sure, you tell me.

I mean think about it, just look at the Mueller investigation in conjunction with both the Senate and House’s investigations into Russian interference during the 2015- 2016 election season. Sitting here almost 2 years after the fact, have any of these investigations concluded – what have they even found? No, and almost next to nothing. Moreover, has anything even really resulted or changed as a result of them? No, not really. Sure Google and Facebook have changed some policies since then, but they are both private corporate entities. What does the US Government have to show for itself? Right off the bat that’s two years and literally hundreds of millions of dollars wasted, straight down the metaphorical drain.

Now think about the fact that this was 2 years worth of time, money and resources not spent focusing on immediate threats to this country in the here and now, nor what lies ahead in the future.

Some Arithmetic for You: 2 years of investigations + 2 years lost looking back in the rear view mirror at what hit us in 2015-2016 instead of preparing for the future = 4 years and hundreds of millions of dollars lost.

Moreover, if all of this nonsense continues into the 2020 election season, we will have essentially lost 8 years of progress. As I then put forward, the election of Donald Trump for just 1 term in office may have already single highhandedly set the United States of America backwards almost a full decade – exactly what “those Russians” were hoping for, wasn’t it? The butterfly effect from all of this has also begun to spread around the entire world as well. China remains unafraid to battle us in a trade War, the US dollar is inflating, US national debt is skyrocketing and some of our nations closest historical allies are blatantly ignoring US foreign policy decisions – such as is the case with the Iranian Nuclear Treaty, Paris Climate Agreement and international Cyber Security Guidelines. Moreover, with the Senate now controlled by Republicans and the House controlled by Democrats, the people of the United States are already gearing up for another 2 years of legislative “gird lock” – ensuring that once again, just as was the case from 2014-2016, nothing will ever get done in this country on a political level.

Breaking down the fallout a little further, back when I was writing for Bankrupt Medi4 in 2017 I remember covering a story about a press conference given by Senator Mark Warner (R, NC), in which he told an audience of reporters how he had just learned about the use of “bots” to spread political misinformation and fake news online leading up to the 2016 election season. I also remember being absolutely blown away by his press conference, not at the information he was explaining, but rather because Senator Warner had never heard of the term “botnet” before that week. Yet, this is the man whose leading the Senate Intelligence Committee’s investigation into Russian hacking? How the hell can someone whose never heard of a botnet possibly be chosen to lead an investigation into perhaps the single most advanced and sophisticated hacking operation of all time? What in the world made/makes him qualified for such an en-devour? Nothing.

The fact of the matter is that these investigations always have been and still remain an absolute joke, being led by men/women who are completely and utterly unqualified for their positions. Heading into 2019 now, why do you think nothing has gotten done and these are still ongoing with no end in site? While we are on the subject, look no further than Robert Mueller and this whole “Russian collusion” investigation. Has he ever been more “famous” than he is today? I mean think about it, in 2018 hes essentially become a household name in this country. On top of this, he’s also personally been given a budget of tens of millions with more political subpoena power than almost anyone else in this country not named Donald Trump. But what has his investigation even accomplished? Whats become of nearly 30 million dollars and years worth of investigation? A handful of small indictments that the President could pardon if he really wanted to? Even Mueller knows he can do nothing to touch President Trump, his primary target of the entire investigation in the first place. So what is he even still doing on Capitol Hill then?

The answer is that this is simply the American Oligarchy at play. The people who have power, remain in power. The people with power, only get more power. What incentive does Mueller have to end his investigation? He’s automatically funded, has millions of dollars, more power than he’s ever had at any other point in his career and he’s become a celebrity who makes the national headlines on a near nightly basis to boot. When this investigation is over Mueller is essentially retired, this will be last greatest thing he is ever going to do with his career. Why walk away if he doesn’t have to? So he doesn’t. What incentive does Burr have to say that he has no idea what the hell he’s investigating in the first place? He doesn’t, so he pretends to play along – so and so forth.

Unfortunately, even though we live in a ‘Democracy,‘ we are stuck with the people in power – whether we like it or not. So, here’s to another 2 years and hundreds of millions more dollars spent trying to figure out how the hell the Russians got the better of us 3 years ago. Well done America, who cares about the future anyways – right?

Op-Ed: Why I’ve Stopped Covering US Politics

Granted the overall theme or direction I ultimately hope to take this website and its content hasn’t exactly been decided yet, I just cant bring myself to cover US politics at the present moment in time. I just cant think of anything more pointless or tiresome. You want a quick horoscope of the next two years to come? There will be endless gridlock, again. Democrats wont let Republicans in the House draft any new laws, Republicans in the Senate wont pass any new bills drafted by Democrats in the House, resulting in Donald Trump writing more Executive Orders than you can shake a “Big Stick” at. All the while, there will be endless legal battles/Supreme Court trials resulting from these same Executive Orders. On top of this, our countries National Debt will only continue to soar beyond crippling levels as we continue to increase funding to our Nations military, empowering them to wage War all around the planet while blowing up more and more brown people. So, there you have it, the state of US politics 2018-2021 in a nutshell – welcome to America.

I already know what this is all going to look like too by the way. After-all, I was a content specialist at the full height of the “Fake News fiasco” and “Russian propaganda” nonsense. You best believe if there is a way to spin a story, I know how to spin it. The main stream “Liberal Media” is going to jump over every new bill the Democrats draft, telling you why/how it is greatest or biggest thing since sliced bread, knowing full well those same bills are never actually going to be passed into law by Republicans in the Senate. They are going to tell you all about how the Democrats are standing up to Trump, trying to progress this nation forward and pass bold new initiatives to help the country. Then, once those same bills/laws are inevitably voted down, the press will draft new stories telling you all about how those stubborn conservatives are only working to hold this country back, how it is there fault nothing is getting done and that the Republicans are just trying to defend Trumps legacy/vision for this country.

As for the Republicans, they are just going to sit back and watch it all unfold – all while preparing the Republican National Committee (RNC) for re-elections. They are going to tell you how speaker Pelosi is too “extreme” to be a competent leader, how every bill being drafted by the Democrats is so far “Left” that Republicans cant help but vote it down. They are going to tell you how the Democrats refuse to negotiate or work with anyone to get anything done, all while they try to spend more money than we already have. This will also be by design too, the Republicans know full well that nothing actually has to get done, because Republicans already own the Presidency and have full control over the Supreme Court. In 2020 Republicans can look back at the last two years and say look! The Democrats had full control over the House of Representatives and didn’t pass a single law into existence!! Is this really the group of dysfunctional “leaders” you want to pass control of this country over to in the future?

Therefore, I don’t have to write a single article relating to US politics if I don’t want to, I just covered every article you are going to read for the next two years in less than 600 words. Of course, this isn’t going to stop the US media from writing it on there end. After-all, websites like The Washington Post, New York Times, Breitbart and Fox News all get paid for every single article they produce – why do you think they write so damn many of them?

Moreover, as a small time publisher it would be pointless trying to cover US politics independently, that isn’t what the American peoples want anyways. I’ve been there and done that, independently covering US politics for my last website only succeeded in bankrupting me completely – wont be making that same mistake again. It is no wonder why sites/papers like the Times and Fox News get so many regular readers, because people know exactly what they are going to be getting every time they go there. Want to hear about how Trump is the biggest US Patriot/hero since George Washington? Turn on Fox News or read Breitbart. Want to hear about how Trump is the biggest bigot in history and a disgrace to this Nation? Turn on CNN or read The Guardian. Trust me, it never fails.

The fact of the matter is that the US public, and most people in general for that matter, aren’t interested in putting in the time or effort to learn something new or challenge their own convictions/ideals – they only want to reinforce what’s already in their minds. People read papers like The Guardian or Breitbart for a reason, because they already know exactly what they are going to be seeing/hearing every time they visit. Every single “News” story these outlets produce is going to tell their  readers exactly what their readers want(ed) to hear going in. This is exactly why/how these outlets develop such rabid fan bases in the first place. With the attention span of the average citizen in our society rivaling that of a Goldfish, in our “busy” day in age, with the print industry slowly but surely dying, almost no one feels like they have the time to sit down and read story after story or article after article anymore, never-mind potentially reading something they aren’t going to agree with. This is also why attempting to develop or create an independent news/print media outlet covering US politics is nothing more than “fools errand” in 2018. Consequentially enough, this is also why I envision myself staying as far away from US politics as humanly possible – at least until mid to late 2020, that is…… 😉
