The Self-Fulfilling Prophesy of Calling an Anti-Fascist A Terrorist….

The other month our proud commander in chief made a public announcement declaring all Anti-Fascists terrorist, while pleading with other world leaders to come together and help him both condemn and crack down against these ‘dangerous’ people – people like myself. At the time, the first thing I remember saying in response to that was if my Government is actually going to call me a terrorist for fighting fascism, authoritarianism and Nazi’s, then you better damn well sure believe I’d at least do something to earn that sort of title/reputation. In that spirit I release this article, perhaps the single biggest guide to Anarchy you will ever find or see in one place.

CIA Backed Forces In Afghanistan Implicated In War Crimes

The more things change, the more things basically stay the same. This time, Human Rights Watch has just publishing findings from an independent investigation linking CIA backed forces in Afghanistan to assassination, targeted disappearances, an increase in civilian casualties resulting from continued drone strikes and much more – some even amounting to War Crimes. Entitled “They’ve Shot Many Like This’: Abusive Night Raids by CIA-Backed Afghan Strike Forces,” the 53 page report documents the aforementioned crimes carried out by CIA backed forces inside Afghanistan across 2017 to 2019, specifically under Donald Trumps command.

In a statement published on their website this morning representatives from Human Rights Watch said “United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA)-backed Afghan forces have committed summary executions and other grave abuses without accountability.” Perhaps most worrisome of the problems however is the continued use of drone strikes on or near civilian populations, a problem that Barack Obama once also encountered in the region. HRW goes on the explain how “these strike forces have unlawfully killed civilians during night raids, forcibly disappeared detainees, and attacked healthcare facilities for allegedly treating insurgent fighters. Civilian casualties from these raids and air operations have dramatically increased in the last two years.” I could write more, or you could just consume all the resources for yourself – enjoy!

Part 1: Invaluable Resources Every Political Researcher, Historian & Activist Should Have

In part 1 of 2 of this particular series I am going to disclose the locations of nearly every library of declassified documents you can find online dating back to World War II, specifically implicating the United States Government. Perhaps most importantly, all of the documents contained within them were won via Freedom of Information Act requests and/or lawsuits. In part 2 of this series, I will assemble all of the online links you need to begin requesting new information from the Government for yourself, for free, with just the click of a button and the filling out of an application. But without any further adieu……

For those of you whom are not aware, over the course of the last two decades or so many legal experts, researchers and activists have been lobbying very hard to make government records more accessible to the general public. However, even in victory, rarely if ever do these successes ever get reported in the news. To this effect, below you can find various archives and repositories full of hundreds of thousands of newly declassified documents/files dating all the way back to the end of WW2 and up on through the 2000’s – all disclosed via “Freedom of Information Act” (FOIA) lawsuits. In the case of the CIA for example, these archives used to only be accessible via one computer located in Washington DC – until the entire archive was published/released online for the first time in 2017, that is.

Below is a list of open/available databases hosting countless records across different US Government agencies, almost all of them classified at one point or another throughout America’s past. I put them all together here today not only for my own resources, but also because I believe them to be invaluable resources for anyone reporting on modern US politics or US history, including educators, as a means to understand various situations or circumstances as they existed throughout the past – leading to the politics of today.

DeClassified Docs from The CIA: Part 1 (PsyOps)

The following are a list of guides taken from declassified files from the Central Intelligence Agency and US Army. For the purposes of this article, I would like to include internal documents and subject matter discussing the use of so-called Psych-Operations “Psy-Ops” out in the field, as well as a review of the psychology of Intelligence gathering itself; how such work either effects the people and/or the workers performing their duties for the Government, or the state of mind they need to be in to do it. Needless to say, the documents are incredibly interesting, and paint an interesting portrayal of this particular field.

This is also not the first time I’ve covered this general topic for this website, as I have also previously touched on the notions of “Psychological Warfare.” So, for the purposes of this article, I will be linking to those tags and will also be including Chelsae Manning’s original leak, the US Army Field Manual of Unconventional Warfare. Credit to “Neptunex3c” for providing the manuals to Rogue Media.

Here’s A Look At an Active Freedom of Information Act Lawsuit Against The US Government In Live Time

Sometimes I wonder why the US Government is so afraid of me? I mean, I applied for Clandestine work with the CIA, openly worked with the CIA on different occasions for various DarkNet operations, sent maybe 5 dozen+ reports to the FBI, worked with countless intelligence contractors and pieces off my old website were read to the US Senate Intelligence Committee. I just don’t get it, how did I become the bad guy all of a sudden?

I mean, is it the fact that I was trained/paid by German intelligence? They are “allies” – right? Is it the fact that I left the country, defected my citizen ship and became a political refugee in the Bahamas? Is it that I’ve been inside the Russian consulate and Visa centers three different times, each – the first time as a political refugee? Is it the fact that I uncovered a Russian staff member secretly working for the US while in there, and then sold them out to the FSB to show my worth? Is it the fact I’ve been in the French consulate twice and embassy once? Is it the fact that I can become a Russian citizen any day I want? Is it the fact that I’ve published about 100 leaks globally in the last 9 months alone? I mean, all of that is totally normal – right? Who hasn’t done that? 🤔

All humor aside for a moment, it literally can’t be any of those things. Well, at least the defecting, refugee stuff and political asylum parts that is – because I did all of that “ex post facto.” Unfortunately, the sad reality of my situation is that the US Government is quite literally spending millions observing me and sabotaging everything I do, chasing me from country to country, state to state, instead of just paying me thousands to work for them in the first place! Makes complete sense – right? I guess that would just be too simple a solution for them. But what do I know?

Well, after more than a year and a half now, with no end in site, I decided to begin the process of filling a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the US National Security Agency (NSA) earlier this year. Of course, this began with a simple FOIA request which was expectedly denied – see below – and is currently in the appeals process. Once that appeal gets denied a second time, as I’m certain it will, I will then file a FOIA lawsuit to one up the request and put some more heat on them. Please note that I’ve redacted some of my own personal statements to the NSA in the copies of their response provided below.

NSA FOIA Denial Page 1:

NSA Denail Page 3:

Any of this sounding familiar to you? Sort of sounds like Tom Cruise’s “Rogue Nation Mission Impossible” spin-off perhaps? 😂 I swear, you really can’t make this stuff up!

Once again however, all humor aside, this is actually a very serious matter. I bring all of that up because you have to read between the lines here. If the technology or program didn’t exist in the first place, they would’ve just flat out denied everything outright and probably try and ship me to a psych ward for 32 days – oh wait! The fact that they can neither “confirm nor deny” the existence of the program/technology and can not “confirm nor deny” any of the people(s) targeted by it is actually a defacto admission that the program does exist – which I already know. They just use classification guidelines to hide their violations of article’s 4 and 8 of the US Constitution from the public’s eye. I know, such Patriots – right? 😏

Quite frankly, I don’t care if it all fails. I just want to share intelligence with the world/US, and show people the truth about things they may not have ever been aware of or heard of before – funded by their own tax dollars. After-all, even I know there is a reason the Government is doing this to me, my mind is a weapon and I pledge my allegiance to no one! This country was just to stupid to hire me.

🎆Merry 4th of July America! Damn Those British Sons of Bitches!!🎆

US Central Intelligence Agency Releases Location of New DarkNet Version of cia.gov Website

Earlier today, May 7th 2019, the US Central Intelligence Agency came out with a bizarre press release announcing the launch of their own .onion website. Upon investigation, the “Darknet” version of their site appears to look, feel and function in the same manner as their “ClearNet” version, with only one exception – it features a revolving slideshow of all the agencies latest stories, releases and events – such as you can see with a story of the launch of their .onion website below. Though it must be noted, you can only access the link below with a download of the Tor Browser, Freenet Browser or I2P setup.

Location of Site: https://ciadotgov4sjwlzihbbgxnqg3xiyrg7so2r2o3lt5wz5ypk4sxyjstad.onion/

No photo description available.

Being as deep in the rabbit hole as I am, and have been, I can’t help but wonder if those slideshow pictures/reports are somehow zero days meant to compromise the web browsers/identities of any suspicious visitors to the site – especially in regards to recent Tor zero days made aware to me over the course of the last two months? I honestly cant think of any reason to tailor their website specifically to a DarkNet crowd/audience, unless it was just a trap (HoneyPot). Regardless, at least according to the CIA itself,  they are calling the site the “latest layer” to their international operations, hoping the tool will help the public send in more truly anonymous tips throughout the future.

Secure, anonymous, untraceable—traits ever-present in CIA’s intelligence collection mission,” says the CIA “and the same is true for our onion site, which is now available over the Tor network. Adding that “Our global mission demands that individuals can access us securely from anywhere. Creating an onion site is just one of many ways we’re going where people are” – says Brittany Bramell, CIA’s Director of Public Affairs. However, as someone whom has personally sent dozens of Anonymous tips to the CIA over the course of the last several years, I know it is entirely possible to send them Anonymous tips independent of the Tor Browser – using combinations of VPN’s, Proxies and DNS edits, making their logic even more suspicious.

European Parliament Approves Vote To Create International Biometric Database To Secure EU Border Countries

Last week European Parliament approved the establishment of an international biometric database referred to as the Common Identity Repository (CIN), a means to better help international authorities in securing EU borders. According to the systems parameters, the database will include identity records, including names, dates of birth, passport numbers, and other personally identifiable information, in conjunction with biometric information such as fingerprints and facial scans of both EU and non-EU citizens – estimated to encompass roughly 350 million individuals at the start.

More specifically, according to EU officials, “the systems covered by the new rules would include the Schengen Information System, Eurodac, the Visa Information System (VIS) and three new systems: the European Criminal Records System for Third Country Nationals (ECRIS-TCN), the Entry/Exit System (EES) and the European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS).” Explaining that the move comes in response to an effort to consolidate multiple databases into one browse-able place, serving to consolidate information – thus speeding up and making the jobs of border security officials much easier/proficient – whilst also simultaneously modernizing civilian records  into the 21st century.

With that said however, the vote is not without controversy. In May 2018, in anticipation of this very move, an organization known as State Watch published an investigative report into the pitfalls, short-comings and privacy violations such a database presents – see pdf accompanying this article below. Additionally, the FBI has also come under heavy scrutiny for similar databases in the US, ultimately forced to go to court after it was revealed the agency had been secretly stockpiling the biometrics records of US citizens without alerting them to this – a clear violation of the US Privacy Act in 2016.  While a federal judge did finally rule in their favor in 2017, it was later revealed that the FBI’s biometric database was hacked by the CIA, which was later hacked by Russia, meaning that all US biometric data once owned by the US Government is now out in the wild. For obvious reasons, these are all situations/lessons the EU should look to learn from as they move forward with this new initiative in the future.

Declassified Documents from CIA Reveal US Political Interference South America Throughout The Cold War

So, this article is going to be a little bit difficult to piece together and involves a lot of information you were never technically supposed to see, but now can. This is because, for those of you whom might not have been aware, the US intelligence community just finished wrapping up a declassified document dump 3 years in the making last Friday – April 12th 2019. Officially entitled the “Argentina Declassification Project” and originally ordered by Barack Obama in 2016, the now browse-able archive is home to literally tens of thousands of declassified documents centering around Argentina and Argentinian history – including up on through the end of WW2 and into the Cold War.

However, what makes these documents particularly unique, and just as equally controversial, are direct references to operations carried out by the US Central Intelligence Agency, US military and our allies abroad – including France and England. What I mean to say is that the documents almost accidentally reveal/outline US War strategy throughout the course of the Cold War, and chronicle top-secret CIA missions that no one has ever heard or seen of before – because these documents have remained classified for the better part of the last 5 decades! In a weird way, the documents released last week almost throw the US and some of our closest allies completely under the bus – something I don’t believe was Obama’s original intention – or maybe perhaps it was? 🤔

Browse Full Archive – Argentina Declassification Project: https://www.intel.gov/argentina-declassification-project/records

Interestingly enough, in 2016 President Obama initially referred to the directive to release these documents as a “humanitiarian gesture” extended towards Argentina, hoping to expose and/or shine light on human rights violations which have crippled the country/region throughout the past. Taking a look at these documents first hand here today, in retrospect, while Obama wasn’t necessarily wrong in his inclinations, he may have wildly under-estimated what would be revealed or how bad it would make the US and CIA look. But then again, maybe Obama did know all along, and this is exactly why he ordered the release – who knows, really?

I bring this up because what appears to be catching the eyes/attention of some of my fellow “comrades” are details surrounding something referred to as”Operation Condor” – a delf describeda cooperative effort by the intelligence/security services of several South American countries to combat terrorism and subversion,” spearheaded by US intelligence with help from our counterparts in “France, United Kingdom, Western Germany, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

Learn More – Operation Condor from CIA Reading Room: https://www.cia.gov/library/readingroom/search/site/%22Operation%20Condor%22

As you can read for yourself within the newly declassified document below, and as was explained in more detail by Chilean reporter Whitney Webb, “Operation Condor was a plan by the CIA that targeted leftists, suspected leftists and their “sympathizers” and resulted in the forced disappearances, torture and brutal murders of an estimated 60,000 people, as well as the political imprisonment of around half a million people. Around half of the estimated murders occurred in Argentina.” However, what caught my attention was the CIA’s use of the term “Psychological Warfare” to describe what they were attempting to do in South America as a means of subverting their enemies. This is because I have previously covered the US Governments use of psychological warfare as a means of combating Russia under Donald Trump.

Browse 4 Page Document – Operation Condor Strategy 08/22/1978:

[pdf-embedder url=”https://roguemedia.co/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/780822cia.pdf”]

Regardless, Web then goes on to explain how “several other documents in the recent release discuss a decision made by Condor member countries in May 1976 to train and send a military unit to “conduct physical attacks” against left-wing Latin American exiles and their supporters in France, in what was codenamed “Teseo.” Adding that “several Condor countries, aside from Brazil and Bolivia, were eager to participate and the training of the “Teseo” unit did occur, though the CIA was apparently unaware whether the unit was actually sent to France.” However, further research by Rogue Media Labs confirms the movements of these very operations in and around Europe – as you can see from the FOIA CIA reading room documents provided below, a resource I do not believe Web had access to at the time.

Unfortunately, I really wish it ended there, but it does not. As Webb goes on to explain, sponsored by the US Military, Central Intelligence Agency and their counterparts in Europe, Operation Condor ultimately went on to overthrow and installed new Governments in 6 South American countries throughout the course of the 1970’s – in Chile, Brasil, Uraguay, Bolivia, Ecuador and Argentina, forever altering history.

A separate report published by The Guardian on April 15th 2019 called Operation Condora secret programme in which the dictatorships of Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile, Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador conspired to kidnap and assassinate members of leftwing guerrilla groups in each other’s territories” – implying that all those killed or imprisoned were all terrorists, militant members or enemies of the state. However, as The Guardian also points out, “many — and one could convincingly argue the majority — of those killed, tortured and imprisoned were not members of guerilla groups, as there are thousands of documented cases of college students, musicians, writers, journalists, priests and nuns, pregnant women, teachers, indigenous leaders, union members and others who were subject to the extreme prejudice of Operation Condor despite not being combatants in any capacity.

According some reports, as many as 60,000 people were killed and/or assassinated as a result of these very operations – nearly half of which came from Argentina alone. Once again, as was previously stated in the lead to this article, President Obama released these documents as a favor to Argentina to help them understand their past and the human rights violations which have occurred their throughout their checkered past – though it is anyone guess how aware Obama was at the time of just how great/large of a role the United States actually played in those same human rights violations. I guess that is what you call “irony.

Regardless, thanks to multiple document dumps released by the CIA and US Intelligence community over the course last two years, together with some good ole fashion research, even though we already kind of knew these sorts of things happen, it’s just a little weird/eerie to see literal proof of it all – showcasing the very documents/treaties/back-room agreements we drafted and signed to pull it all off. Imagine if this information was made public at the time? How different would our world look today? Now that they are all out in the open for the world to see, how pissed off do you think people will be? How much will these sorts of documents influence future US relations? Your guess is as good as mine.

Lastly, when I look around at the world today, I see the US active in “regime change” in Syria, Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, Egypt and North Korea throughout the course of the 21st century. Moreover, we have carried out these operations/War efforts in the name of “terrorism” – quite literally fighting a “War On Terror.” Looking back at CIA documents from the 1970’s and seeing the same terminology of “terrorism” and “regime change” frightens me, quite frankly, and makes me feel a whole lot less proud to be an American as I sit here today. I just cant help but wonder, when will the US’s luck run out? The proof is on the table, we have meddled in the affairs of and seemingly overthrown half the worlds leaders just to suit our own political interests. Surely it is only a matter of time before all our “interference” and “meddling” in other countries political affairs will come back to haunt us – right Russia?

Recently Declassified Files from The DoD & CIA Paint an Interesting Portrayal of Middle Eastern History & The Bible

This article isn’t really “news,” so to speak, but rather an opportunity to consume some recently declassified files from the United States Department of Defense (DoD) and Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). More specifically, below you can find declassified files which contain information on ancient historical buildings, landmarks, infrastructure and mythology – including the Bible itself. Honestly, who isn’t interested in that? And if that doesn’t draw you in to want to read more then honestly, what are you even doing on my site?

The first document I would like to share is a release from the Department of Defense  yesterday, actually, showcasing aerial footage and photography of historical architecture and world heritage sites across Iraq – ancient Babylon. While the photos were originally assembled in the 1950’s to track enemy ground movements across the country, they do provide an interesting and unique perspective in terms of Middle Eastern history. Perhaps some of this is even more interesting given the fact that many world heritage sites across Iraq have since been lost forever – destroyed by the Islamic State over the course of the last decade.

The second release of documents I would like to share were included in a treasure trove of leaked documents released by the CIA in 2017 – the result of a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit. However, the subject of these particular documents is extremely peculiar. For example, they discuss the stories of Genesis, Adam and Eve and the Great Flood of Noah in terms of both history and climatology. Honestly, I have never come across anything like them in all of my years of academic study or online activism. Consequentially, this is why I am featuring them here today – simply to share interesting information with the world – you’re welcome!

Hackers The World Over Prepare for April Lulz Day 2019

Having been around the internet for a while I cant help but notice an increased level of international fervor surround something referred to as “April Lulz Day 2019,” an international hacking operation being launched by LulzSec affiliates all around the world. While I’m certain not all of the targets whom will be #TangoDown‘ed tomorrow have been released publicly, it appears as though the US Federal Bureau of Investigation, Central Intelligence Agency and National Security Agency appear to be the groups central targets, no pun intended – with all of the those 3 letter acronyms appearing in several publications advertising the date.

To date, at least from what I have been able to find, LulzSec Argentina, LulzSec Kurdistan, LulzSecITA, Pinoy LulzSec and ForTheLulz have all been pushing advertisements on behalf of it for several days now.  Rumor has it LulzSecITA has been holding onto a leak of a certain Mayor from Rome, though it remains to be seen if/when that leak will be released to the public. For the time being, if you are not planning on participation yourself, I guess just sit back and enjoy the lulz! 🍿

Researcher Uses Google Search Strings To Uncover 1,000’s of Active Government Issued ID’s, Passports & More

An online cyber security researcher going by the name of Fabio Castro in Brasil has just disclosed a serious vulnerability attached to the Google search engine. In research revealed via his Twitter page earlier today, January 10th 2019, Mr. Castro has revealed that if you enter a certain string of the right characters and symbols onto a Google search, you are essentially able to nab different portions, sections, folders, files or databases perhaps you otherwise shouldn’t.

As a proof of concept (PoC), Mr. Castro entered the following string onto Google this morning “intitle.”index of / “passport” and managed to stumble across countless international photo Id’s, Passports, Drivers Licenses and the like through Google images. While the exact number exposed is impossible to quantify, we could be talking about thousands upon thousands of active Government issued ID’s compromised by this glitch/vulnerability all across the world. For example, Mr. Castro has already admitted to maliciously downloading documents for himself – primarily targeting Brasilian drivers licenses.

After thinking for a while about how this sort of thing could have happened and after analyzing the URL structure tied to the photo’s leaked onto Googles servers, it is my professional opinion that this is a glitch resulting from Google web bots and crawlers. For example, nearly every Government or corporate website in the world is attached to Google‘s search engine on one level or another, meaning that the site has been indexed to be crawled by Google‘s various artificial intelligence web bots – seemingly at random.

Now, unless you are a security 🤓 like me, or don’t have insanely strict firewall rules, you might not realize how much Google actually attempts to “learn” about any/every website located on the ClearNet. For example, every once and a while Rogue Security Labs manages to catch Google‘s web bots attempting to crawl/index things they should have no business learning – such as my site’s json files. Tying things together, especially given the developments of today, I am also willing to bet that none of this is an isolated process, and Google‘s bots have either been intentionally configured to or accidentally reconfigured to crawl various file systems across the web – there’s no telling which really, only Google developers know that answer.

For Example:

No photo description available.

No photo description available.

No photo description available.

If you do not block these bots or employ strict enough rules on your firewall, then Google will do anything and everything it can to index everything on it – seemingly with no abandon whatsoever. After thinking about it for long enough and after piecing some more information together in my head, unfortunately, this appears to be a variation of the same exact bug/vulnerability leading to the death of 30 Clandestine CIA agents in Iran last November.

For those of you whom do not remember, as was first reported by Yahoo News on November 2nd 2018, Iranian agents managed to enter different search strings together on Google‘s search engine, leading hackers directly to site pages attached to the back-end of “secret” websites used by various CIA agents/operatives to coordinate, communicate and exchange messages with one another. For example, a later report revealed that a search comprising of the words “CIA secret website login” really did lead hackers to web pages of undercover operatives – web pages that hackers were then able to Brute-Force and/or hack. Later reports revealed that undercover agents in China were also able to compromise undercover operatives by similar hacks/vulnerabilities throughout the course of 2009 – 2013, leading to the deaths of dozens more.

Honestly, there really is no easy fix to this problem. If you are one of the websites effected, considering that Google has already indexed the web pages and files in question, Google would have to audit its own systems and servers to remove them manually. If you are a website owner looking to build your site in the future, then either hire Rogue Security Labs to manage your website security or learn how to build and employ stricter firewall rules yourself. The only way to prevent Google from indexing your site is by blocking different web bots/crawlers from doing so. It is such an advanced problem that is so easily exploited – that’s the real problem here.

On a side note, considering that I was one point a Clandestine agent in waiting and literally wrote the book how to keep an Anonymous identity online, I am quite frankly dumbfounded that agents actually employed by the CIA were dumb enough to coordinate with each other and Government offices on the ClearNet, nevermind on an unsecure website located on the ClearNet to boot- that’s just a literal face palm to me. But then again, I’m the one the CIA choose not to hire – so I guess that’s their problem. Well done America.

FBI & 10 US Federal Agencies Sued In Class Action Freedom of Information Act Lawsuit

Having been heavily entrenched in this industry for the better part of the last 4 years, one of the most interesting themes I keep running across are the outright illegal actions of the US Government, and how various agencies, offices and departments operating under its umbrella continue to get away with or justify their use of Black-Hat hacking in “law enforcement” and/or “national security.” What I mean to say is that in accordance with the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, any unauthorized access to another persons devices, online accounts or computers is a felony. Quite literally, that’s the law -at least if you are a US civilian, that is.

It is also a generally known fact that many, if not most of the worlds most dangerous hackers work directly for various Governments – including here in the US. In fact, you might recall a 2016 documentary by VICE News entitled “Cyber War,” in which a current NSA contractor accounts his first day at work, explaining how he was sat down in front of his computer and told by his supervisor nothing more than “go be a hacking God.

In that spirit, you might also remember how the FBI had to lobby Congress to pass new Amendments to Rule 41 after their investigations into PlayPen was ruled unconstitutional and illegal, allowing pedophiles to walk free? Or remember when the FBI payed Celebrite to hack Apples iOS in 2015 after the company declined to unlock their devices? Or when the FBI payed another 1 million dollars to develop an exploit to Tor? How about the fact that, under Barack Obama, the CIA was caught illegally wiretapping Angela Merkel and other US allies in Europe? Remember when the CIA hacked the FBI’s biometric databases while the FBI was actively engaged in a lawsuit for keeping this data secret from the US public? How about when the Russian Shadow Brokers stole illegal hacking tools and exploits from the NSA before selling them online? Or when Wikileaks released the contents of Vault 7, exposing dozens of illegal hacking tools and exploits used to conduct cyber espionage operations around the world and here in the US?

My point here is, our Federal Government is completely illegal and out of control – operating with absolutely no accountability or oversight whatsoever, breaking the same laws that they use to govern society. Not only have these agencies gone on to loose control of the very illegal hacking tools and exploits they’ve secretly manufactured, but they have also landed these tools straight into the hands of some of our countries greatest enemies – jeopardizing our very National Security because of our own reckless ambitions to “Clandestinely” ‘hack the world.’

To this effect, the American Civil Liberty Union (ACLU), Privacy International and the University at Buffalo Law School’s Civil Liberties & Transparency Clinic have recently just filed a class action Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against 11 US Federal agencies and department over what they deem to be their use of “legalized hacking” against US citizens. Officially filed in a District of New York court room on December 21st 2018, at the very least, the lawsuit hopes to discover what exactly the US Government’s logic is for carrying out so many hacking operations here in the US, knowing full well their actions would be considered felonies if anyone else in public did the same things. They also hope to uncover the methodology through which the Government goes about selecting targets and what safe guards, if any, are in place to prevent abuses.

According to a joint press release posted to their website, the ACLU explains that “the lawsuit demands that the agencies disclose which hacking tools and methods they use, how often they use them, the legal basis for employing these methods, and any internal rules that govern them. We are also seeking any internal audits or investigations related to their use.” The US Federal Bureau of Investigation, Drug Enforcement Agency, Department of Justice, Department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Border Control, Internal Revenue Service, Secret Service, Office of the Inspector General, Department of Homeland Security, and Department of Treasury are all implicated in the lawsuit.
