Declassified Documents from CIA Reveal US Political Interference South America Throughout The Cold War

So, this article is going to be a little bit difficult to piece together and involves a lot of information you were never technically supposed to see, but now can. This is because, for those of you whom might not have been aware, the US intelligence community just finished wrapping up a declassified document dump 3 years in the making last Friday – April 12th 2019. Officially entitled the “Argentina Declassification Project” and originally ordered by Barack Obama in 2016, the now browse-able archive is home to literally tens of thousands of declassified documents centering around Argentina and Argentinian history – including up on through the end of WW2 and into the Cold War.

However, what makes these documents particularly unique, and just as equally controversial, are direct references to operations carried out by the US Central Intelligence Agency, US military and our allies abroad – including France and England. What I mean to say is that the documents almost accidentally reveal/outline US War strategy throughout the course of the Cold War, and chronicle top-secret CIA missions that no one has ever heard or seen of before – because these documents have remained classified for the better part of the last 5 decades! In a weird way, the documents released last week almost throw the US and some of our closest allies completely under the bus – something I don’t believe was Obama’s original intention – or maybe perhaps it was? 🤔

Browse Full Archive – Argentina Declassification Project: https://www.intel.gov/argentina-declassification-project/records

Interestingly enough, in 2016 President Obama initially referred to the directive to release these documents as a “humanitiarian gesture” extended towards Argentina, hoping to expose and/or shine light on human rights violations which have crippled the country/region throughout the past. Taking a look at these documents first hand here today, in retrospect, while Obama wasn’t necessarily wrong in his inclinations, he may have wildly under-estimated what would be revealed or how bad it would make the US and CIA look. But then again, maybe Obama did know all along, and this is exactly why he ordered the release – who knows, really?

I bring this up because what appears to be catching the eyes/attention of some of my fellow “comrades” are details surrounding something referred to as”Operation Condor” – a delf describeda cooperative effort by the intelligence/security services of several South American countries to combat terrorism and subversion,” spearheaded by US intelligence with help from our counterparts in “France, United Kingdom, Western Germany, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

Learn More – Operation Condor from CIA Reading Room: https://www.cia.gov/library/readingroom/search/site/%22Operation%20Condor%22

As you can read for yourself within the newly declassified document below, and as was explained in more detail by Chilean reporter Whitney Webb, “Operation Condor was a plan by the CIA that targeted leftists, suspected leftists and their “sympathizers” and resulted in the forced disappearances, torture and brutal murders of an estimated 60,000 people, as well as the political imprisonment of around half a million people. Around half of the estimated murders occurred in Argentina.” However, what caught my attention was the CIA’s use of the term “Psychological Warfare” to describe what they were attempting to do in South America as a means of subverting their enemies. This is because I have previously covered the US Governments use of psychological warfare as a means of combating Russia under Donald Trump.

Regardless, Web then goes on to explain how “several other documents in the recent release discuss a decision made by Condor member countries in May 1976 to train and send a military unit to “conduct physical attacks” against left-wing Latin American exiles and their supporters in France, in what was codenamed “Teseo.” Adding that “several Condor countries, aside from Brazil and Bolivia, were eager to participate and the training of the “Teseo” unit did occur, though the CIA was apparently unaware whether the unit was actually sent to France.” However, further research by Rogue Media Labs confirms the movements of these very operations in and around Europe – as you can see from the FOIA CIA reading room documents provided below, a resource I do not believe Web had access to at the time.

Unfortunately, I really wish it ended there, but it does not. As Webb goes on to explain, sponsored by the US Military, Central Intelligence Agency and their counterparts in Europe, Operation Condor ultimately went on to overthrow and installed new Governments in 6 South American countries throughout the course of the 1970’s – in Chile, Brasil, Uraguay, Bolivia, Ecuador and Argentina, forever altering history.

A separate report published by The Guardian on April 15th 2019 called Operation Condora secret programme in which the dictatorships of Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile, Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador conspired to kidnap and assassinate members of leftwing guerrilla groups in each other’s territories” – implying that all those killed or imprisoned were all terrorists, militant members or enemies of the state. However, as The Guardian also points out, “many — and one could convincingly argue the majority — of those killed, tortured and imprisoned were not members of guerilla groups, as there are thousands of documented cases of college students, musicians, writers, journalists, priests and nuns, pregnant women, teachers, indigenous leaders, union members and others who were subject to the extreme prejudice of Operation Condor despite not being combatants in any capacity.

According some reports, as many as 60,000 people were killed and/or assassinated as a result of these very operations – nearly half of which came from Argentina alone. Once again, as was previously stated in the lead to this article, President Obama released these documents as a favor to Argentina to help them understand their past and the human rights violations which have occurred their throughout their checkered past – though it is anyone guess how aware Obama was at the time of just how great/large of a role the United States actually played in those same human rights violations. I guess that is what you call “irony.

Regardless, thanks to multiple document dumps released by the CIA and US Intelligence community over the course last two years, together with some good ole fashion research, even though we already kind of knew these sorts of things happen, it’s just a little weird/eerie to see literal proof of it all – showcasing the very documents/treaties/back-room agreements we drafted and signed to pull it all off. Imagine if this information was made public at the time? How different would our world look today? Now that they are all out in the open for the world to see, how pissed off do you think people will be? How much will these sorts of documents influence future US relations? Your guess is as good as mine.

Lastly, when I look around at the world today, I see the US active in “regime change” in Syria, Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, Egypt and North Korea throughout the course of the 21st century. Moreover, we have carried out these operations/War efforts in the name of “terrorism” – quite literally fighting a “War On Terror.” Looking back at CIA documents from the 1970’s and seeing the same terminology of “terrorism” and “regime change” frightens me, quite frankly, and makes me feel a whole lot less proud to be an American as I sit here today. I just cant help but wonder, when will the US’s luck run out? The proof is on the table, we have meddled in the affairs of and seemingly overthrown half the worlds leaders just to suit our own political interests. Surely it is only a matter of time before all our “interference” and “meddling” in other countries political affairs will come back to haunt us – right Russia?

The Yemen Papers: Classified Military Documents from French MoD Published Online

Earlier this morning, April 15th 2019, a non-Governmental Organization (NGO) going by the name of Disclose released a small cache of classified military documents outlining the French Governments role in the Yemen Civil War and the tragedy currently unfolding there. Officially entitled “The Yemen Papers” and comprising of 15 pages of classified material, the leaked documents outline France’s role in providing weapons and munitions to Saudi Forces and the United Arab Emirates for use in Yemen, whom have then turned around and used these weapons in countless War Crimes in the country.

In addition to publishing the documents, which have been consolidated and reloaded through this site to be accessible/browse-able to the public, Disclose has also set up an interactive website called “Made-In-France” to give readers more perspective on the leaked documents and the circumstances surrounding them – including the documentation of War Crimes carried out in and around the country over the course of the last several years. Both the website and leaks are world class, so I have made accessing them easy – see the information directly below.

As was previously explained by Julian Assange in 2017, following the release of other classified documents known as The Yemen Files, “Yemen is of significant strategic interest as Yemen controls a narrow choke-point to the Red Sea and the Suez Canal through which 11% of the world’s petroleum passes each day. In addition, Yemen borders Saudi Arabia (to the north) and Oman (to the east) and has access to the Arabian Sea, through which another 20% of the world’s petroleum passes from the Strait of Hormuz (including the oil of Saudi Arabia and Iran). Saudi Arabia seeks to control a port in Yemen to avoid the potential constriction of its oil shipments by by Iran along the Strait of Hormuz or by countries which can control its other oil shipment path along the Red Sea.

Adding that “the Yemen Files offer documentary evidence of the US arming, training and funding of Yemeni forces in the years building up to the war. The documents reveal, among other things, procurement of many different weapon types: aircraft, vessels, vehicles, proposals for maritime border security control and Yemeni procurement of US biometric systems.” Similarly, the documents released today outline the true extent to which France has gone about arming different militant groups/factions currently fighting in the Yemen Civil War.

As was also reported by Amnesty International earlier today,

“These leaked documents provide clear evidence that French military equipment supplied to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is being widely used in the conflict in Yemen. Despite overwhelming evidence, Western arms supplied to the Saudi Arabia and UAE-led Coalition are being used to commit or facilitate possible war crimes and other serious violations of international humanitarian law in Yemen, states such as France have shamelessly flouted their international obligations by continuing to supply arms to Saudi Arabia and the UAE in violation of the Arms Trade Treaty.

Amnesty International’s repeated calls on the French Ministry of Defence to be transparent about French arms transfers since the conflict began have fallen on deaf ears. The information made public today should spur the French government to immediately suspend all arms transfers that could be used by any of the warring parties in Yemen – once and for all.”

Amnesty International has previously published an investigative report entitled “When Arms Go Astray,” outlining the destruction caused by US and European weapons shipments into Yemen at the hands of UAE and Saudi forces.

As Amnesty International is also quick to point out, more than a quarter of a million people have signed Amnesty International’s petition calling on their governments to immediately stop arms transfers to Saudi Arabia and UAE.

Understanding The Weaponization of Modern Cyberspace & The ‘Secret World’ of International Corporate Espionage

This is a concept which needs some explaining, because no one has really ever taken the time to break it down – at least from what I have seen. What you need to understand is that we live in a unique time in world history, and we are all headed towards an equally unique and uncertain future.

What I mean to say is that the 21st century is an exceptionally prosperous time in human history, there is no mass global Wars, there’s no great plague, the majority of us all have running water, plumbing, electricity, refrigeration and the like, we have bikes, cars, automobiles and planes and the entire world can theoretically be accessible/connectable with the click of a button. Not only is the modern 21st century perhaps the single easiest and most peaceful time in human history, but the human race is now also interconnected in ways that prior generations could have never imagined possible.

With that established however, not all is right as rain. For example, over the course of the last several years the United States, Germany, NATO and the like have all gone on to officially declare “cyber space” and “the internet” as the 5th domain/relm of Warfare – joining more traditions domains of Warfare such land, sea, air and space.

Learn More – NATO’s Recognition of Cyberspace As New Domain of Warfare: https://apps.dtic.mil/dtic/tr/fulltext/u2/1029776.pdf

However, as humanity continues to grapple with its understanding and regulation of our new technologies, we are only just now beginning to see/realize the weaponizing of the internet, internet conglomerates and their infrastructure – and this phenomenon is slowly beginning to rear its ugly head across nearly every other aspect of society these days. For example, consider the following evidence.

Google & The Department of Defense

I start off with Google for a number of reasons, chief among them is the fact that they are the single largest and highest grossing firm on the net. As Google is an American business, what you should know is that the company has a number of active contracts with the United States Government – particularly the United States military industrial complex. If you would like an example, look no further than “Project Maven,” a joint military operation currently underway with the help of Google researchers, developers, staff and Artificial Intelligence algorithms – some of which have recently made international headlines.

It should therefore go without saying, but you can not have a contract with the United States military without your full loyalties belonging to them. For this very reason, this also means that enemies of the US Government, or any other international Government agency for that matter, cannot rely on or trust Google to ensure their full security, privacy or look out for their best interests – especially in regards to contentious geo-political issues/events. In other words, as an American-based business and active military contractor, Google is loyal to the US military and for better or worse, has become a de facto branch of/for it – even if no one actually admits this out loud.

Consequentially enough, this is also why Google has always been restricted by “The Great Firewall of China,” and has recently faced banishment from Russia entirely as recently as just a few weeks ago.

Microsoft, Encryption Back-doors & Government Espionage

Similar to Google, Microsoft is yet another American based business with deep running ties to the United States military industrial complex. For example, every computer owned by the US Army and US Cyber Command is now literally mandated to run exclusively on Microsoft Windows 10 software and Operating Systems.

https://twitter.com/MSinDOD/status/770962514406313986

Now, I want you to notice the dates of those two Tweets above – August 29th and 31st, 2016. I bring this up because just a few weeks prior to this, on August 10th 2016, the Kremlin came out with a press release announcing how it was their immediate intention to begin switching all government/military computing systems off Microsoft and on onto domestically produced software – directly because of Microsoft‘s deep running ties with the US Government and US military.

It wasn’t until just a few months after this, in November 2016, that the Kremlin literally called switching over all their software away from Microsofta matter of national security.” Going on to explain how the Kremlin now believes that “software developed by American companies, such as Microsoft, could hide back-doors and bugs that could help other nations spy on their plans.” Also going as far as to say “not replacing foreign IT would be equivalent to dismissing the army.

Read More – Russia’s Plan To Abandon Microsoft & Foreign Software 9/17/2016: https://news.softpedia.com/news/president-elect-donald-trump-can-t-stop-russia-s-war-against-american-software-510294.shtml

If you think this conundrum is unique to Russia, you are mistaken. Believe it or not, Microsoft has similarly been banned from all Government systems in China dating back to 2013. This is when the country first interrogated then political asylum seeker/NSA contractor Edward Snowden, whom revealed that the United States has been secretly using Microsoft to conduct espionage on the Chinese Government and its companies for decades. Not only this, but Microsoft‘s own search engine, Bing, was also banned in China as recently as January 2019 – for essentially all the same reasons.

ZTE & Corporate Espionage

Consequentially enough, this sets me up perfectly for my next bit – America’s banning of the Chinese-based telecommunications conglomerate known as Zhongxing Telecommunication Equipment – otherwise simply referred to as ZTE. Truth be told, I first learned of this news after attempting to go into an AT&T in store in downtown New York City for repairs on my phone, only to find out that AT&T refused to fix my screen because it was a ZTE product – based out of China. They informed me that it was no longer their policy to service and/or fix any Chinese based phone, and advised me to purchase a new American phone – to which I declined, and not respectfully.

Regardless, similar in many ways to to the complaints international Government agencies have been levying against American tech giants for years now, the US has now started levying against other international tech giants/conglomerates. It is just a shame that this information is generally not available or public knowledge to the average American hopelessly wandering around our society.

Kaspersky & US Election Hacking

Along the same lines, throughout the course of 2017, the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) made it a top priority to ban Kaspersky Lab anti-virus and other software from all Government systems around the United States. This is because, upon investigation, the US Federal Bureau of Investigation had come to believe that US government employees and personnel were originally compromised via the Kaspersky Lab products they had installed on their devices, which granted the Russian based software conglomerate root access over all their systems. Put more directly, the US Government had come to believe that Kaspersky Lab roots were the whole reason that Russia was able to hack the 2016 Presidential election and US Government employees so easily in the months just before it – especially considering Russian laws requires Russian companies to make all of their data freely accessible to the Kremlin. These laws are also why Kasperky later moved all of their severs out of Russia and into Switzerland by 2018, even though the public damage to the company had already been done.

However, it must also be stated while there was never any cut and dry evidence released indicating that this was indeed the case, at least publicly, and there are still technically court cases ongoing surrounding these allegations, the US Governments ban of Kaspersky has been implemented nonetheless. As a result, Kaspersky has also faced similar bans throughout Europe.

I also don’t know what it says about me, but I just bought a new computer two weeks ago and the first thing I did was install Kaspersky Lab software on it. I also own a ZTE phone 😉.

Facebook & Psychological Warfare

The last two sections of this article are almost exclusive to Rogue Media Labs, at least I have not seen anyone else reporting on these issues outside of Russia. The first is the fact that Facebook has quite literally become a military weapon – and no, I am not talking about Russia’s use of fake news, fake advertisements or propaganda either. While yes, those were huge problems in their own right throughout 2015/2016, new developments as of 2018/2019 are far more troubling and grotesque. More specifically, I am talking about the US Governments use of Facebook as a means of waging so-called “Psychological Warfare” against our adversaries.

Learn More – Russia Bans Military Personnel from Using Social Media To Counter-Act US Sponsored Psych-Ops: https://roguemedia.co/2018/11/09/russia-bans-active-duty-military-personnel-from-sharing-on-social-media/

You may recall a 2017 statement by James Mattis in which he personally stated how, as a result of complacency and improper funding of the US Department of Defense (DoD) under the previous administration, the United States has now fallen behind the rest of the world in several realms of Warfare – such as cyberspace, ultimately allowing the US elections to be hacked in the first place. Regardless, in an effort to ‘catch back up with the rest of the world,’ not only has Trump begun heavily investing back in the US military industrial complex, but we as a nation have also begun experimenting with new, unconventional forms of Warfare. For the purposes of this particular article I would like to talk specifically about Psychological Warfare and our use of Psych-Ops, as well as how these operations can be and are already actively being carried out online – in some instances, exclusively through Facebook.

Read More – US Military Field Manual on Unconventional Warfare: https://roguemedia.co/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/US_Army_Field_Manual_Unconventional_Warfare_2008.pdf

If you were previously unaware, in November of 2018 the Kremlin signed a new piece of legislation into law officially banning all active duty military personnel from owning social media accounts or sharing across social platforms. This is because, at the time, according to the Kremlin itself, social platforms such as Facebook had begun being used to collect “analysis of the activities of the Russian military.” Explaining how “The data shared by the servicemen online is used to apply psychological and information pressure on Russia and its military as well as forming biased opinions on state policies of Russian authorities in society.” Not only this, but the US Government had also taken it a step further by using platforms like Facebook to wage psychological Warfare against Russian soldiers serving abroad in locations such as Syria and Africa.

For example, given that Facebook hosts its servers inside the United States, the US Government has started hijacking their platform in order to pretend to be friends or family members of Russian troops serving abroad. Not only does the US Government do this to organize psychological profiles on individual members of Russia’s military, but in some instances they also use Facebook accounts to cause Russian troops “distress” back home – by faking/fabricating conflicts, arguments or unfortunate circumstances with friends and family back in Russia. This was done to make Russian troops feel as though aspects of their lives were completely falling apart outside of their control back home, thus taking away pride/focus from their military efforts as they served abroad. It may have taken a few months to figure out, but the Kremlin did eventually catch on.

Despite however low down and “dirty” of a trick that is, this remains our current reality – at least under our new Commander In Chief Donald Trump as we continue to exploit American businesses internationally.

Twitter & Spying

I am proud to say that this last bit is exclusive to Rogue Media Labs, because it features research I have personally pieced together over recent months. They say that some of the worlds greatest discoveries were made by accident, and this last bit of news is no different.

The first bit of information I would like to share is something I have already shared a few months ago, which is the fact that Twitter is absolutely using their service to spy on its users. Not only can this be evidenced by the fact that every deleted Tweet attached to an owners account is secretly sent directly to Twitters internal servers, but also by the fact that I have personally caught the service recording one of my private messages with a famous hacker known as Nama Tikure. As previously reported, as I was physically typing it out on screen, a custom key logger built by yours truly accidentally caught Twitter bots clicking on my URL address literally 19 times in a 17 second time period. For some perspective on this, I never even pressed ‘enter’ onto the chat. Meaning that all of these clicks were recorded on my end, with all 19 IP Address ranges listed assigned exclusively to Twitter bots. In other words, I accidentally caught Twitter red hand trying to secretly record and log every last aspect of my private messages – and I am certain this isn’t or wasn’t an isolated incident.

Learn More- Twitter Caught Clandestinely Intercepting The Messages of Its Users: https://roguemedia.co/2019/01/15/twitter-bots-caught-clandestinely-logging-the-private-messages-of-their-users/

The second bit of research is something I accidentally discovered last night, completely unrelated to this article and also 100% accidentally. I could describe it in more detail, but this article is already long enough. So ironically, I instead direct you to the following Tweet…..

Wrapping Things Up

I’m almost embarrassed to admit it, but the whole reason I got riled up enough to write this article was the fact that, upon buying my computer, I was immediately offered 25 GB of free storage from DropBox. Sounds like an amazing deal – right? Who wouldn’t want to jump all over that – right? How generous and caring of a company Dropbox must be! Right?

Well, I’m sorry to 💩 on your parade, so to speak, but that just isn’t exactly the reality of the situation at hand here. I know it’s getting a bit redundant at this point, but the fact of the matter is that Dropbox is a subsidiary – an American subsidiary. Moreover, as the US Governments Supreme Court case with Microsoft proves, as an American company, the US Government has the right to any/all data owned by that company if the Government truly wants it.

See where I am going here? The reason why Dropbox is offering 25 GB of free space to anyone who wants it is so that ignorant sheeple, I mean citizens, will upload all of their data to it – so that the US Government can own all that data themselves. The worst part is the fact that Dropbox is subsidized to mislead you to do exactly this, which is also why they can afford to offer up some much free storage space to so many people for free. I know, yay Capitalism – right? 😏.

Understanding The Principles, The Economic Perversion Modern Capitalism Has Manifested

I think it goes without saying, but my brain just doesn’t seem to function the same way or interpret the world like everyone else in society. That having been said, one of the weirdest advertisements I keep coming across here in ‘American society’ is a new commercial currently being pushed on behalf of the Coca-Cola company, which is just a  to have to watch. For example, every time I go to the movie theater and sit down for previews I see the following video, literally every single time without fail:

Feels all heartwarming and fuzzy, right? Makes you feel really good about the world and what the Coca-Cola company is doing, right? Well, that’s just not the way my mind works. For example, every time I see that video my internal monologue reads something like “Seriously? Coca-Cola does know it’s a liquid candy manufacturing company which infuses its products with carbon-dioxide, that first got famous by mixing cocaine in with their product, right?….. I wonder how much they’ve contributed to Americas diabetes epidemic? …… I wonder how many of their plastic bottles and bottle caps are now currently floating around the great Pacific Garbage Patch or clogging up some whales stomach right now?

For the life of me, I just cant understand why a liquid candy corporation is trying to sell itself as some great utopian humanitarian hero of the future? It literally makes no sense to me. But then again, maybe I am just cynical – you think?

With that established, the whole ordeal reminds of an old “Opinion Editorial” I once wrote a couple years ago, but have since taken down – long since forgotten. The theme revolves around the concept of how Capitalism has a unique way of corrupting or perverting society, whilst also incentivizing immorality and empowering corruption. What I mean to say it that, at least from my perspective, it just feels like Capitalism has a unique way of motivating people or businesses to make as much money as humanly possible, instead of motivating them to do the best job as humanly possible or produce the highest quality product they can.

How/Where Can This Be Observed?

This “phenomenon” can be observed in America’s food market where companies, including Coca-Cola, use High Fructose Corn syrup instead of sugar in the production of their products. But did you know that High Fructose Corn Syrup is banned in many countries around the world, such as in Russia and throughout Europe? This is because High Fructose Corn Syrup is far less healthy than traditional sugar. However, American corporations have grown famous for substituting sugar with High Fructose Corn Syrup because it is far cheaper than sugar. Essentially, American companies don’t care if it makes for a lower quality product or how unhealthy it is for their end consumers, if Coca-Cola can save one penny per bottle flavoring with corn syrup instead of sugar then that’s exactly what they are going to do.

The phenomenon can also be observed in America’s toy manufacturing industry. Remember back in the 40’s and 50’s when everything was made of metal or tin? You can still find many of these toys available today as collectible items. This is because, back in the day, companies used to strive to produce high quality products – products that would stand the test of time. Today however, all of our toys are made out of plastic and break within a week of being opened. Once again, this is because it’s far cheaper to build/produce something made of plastic than it is metal – so this is the switch companies have made.

It can also be seen in America’s manufacturing industry, which saw millions of jobs outsourced to India and Asia throughout the 1990’s and 2000’s. Essentially, why would an American company pay an American $15/hr when they could pay some Asian worker $3/hr for the same job? Economically, it just doesn’t make any sense. Consequentially, this is exactly why all of Americas jobs were outsourced overseas to begin with, so that American capitalists could maximize their profit margins and make as much money as humanly possible.

You can even find it within Americas online entertainment industry. For example, remember when Mark Zuckerberg lost billions of dollars overnight, literally hours after announcing changes to Facebook‘s advertising systems – limiting the exposure of advertisements on his social network? At the time, Zuckerberg had came out with a manifesto explaining how he had arrived at this decision as a means of improving/helping society by cracking down on fake news and other click-bait related advertisements, but only proceeded to lose billions for it. Essentially, it served as a perfect example of why/how it doesn’t exactly pay to do the right or moral thing – at least in American society.

No matter where you look or what industry you’re observing, it just feels like the America’s economic model motivates businesses to strive to create the cheapest, lowest quality product they can – that someone will still actually be willing to spend their money on to buy. This is in place of challenging them to compete to produce the best or highest quality product they can, to stand out above their competition and therefore earn peoples money the right way. The way I see it, this is exactly how Capitalism has perverted Americas economic model and culture over time – hence the name of this article.
